The Maryland Talent Education Center is a private music school serving the Mid-Maryland region, offering string instruction by skilled professional musicians to students ages 5-18.  Our faculty have trained at top music schools and conservatories and with some of the most important string pedagogues in the country.  We seek to help each student reach his or her highest potential in musical skill and artistry.

Students at the Maryland Talent Education Center are part of a comprehensive program that includes private lessons, mandatory group classes through the 8th grade (violin only), and many performance opportunities. For students interested in pursuing a career in music, an individual education plan is created that includes participation in youth orchestras, theory classes, summer institutes and access to renowned teachers.
